Lifthrasir is one of the most inspiring characters from ttp2, tysm for this! ❤

He went into the wilds, understood and appreciated it, but mostly took in the dangers of it as inspiration/warning.

He loves civilization because he understands the danger of what civilization is not - harsh, wild, unsafe and chaotic. Thus, new jerusalem became complacant and stagnant, which he despises.

The only people who can appreciate civilization, are those who have lived without it and its comforts.
