Not only adequate logistics; their strategy allows them to keep their supply lines short, more secure and more efficient. whereas Ukraine's supply lines are long, stretched out and vulnerable. They spend or consume more resources on fuel, storage and protection to maintain these lines and their troops spend more time moving around than actual fighting, allowing their numbers to be counted by Russian surveillance. Once they finally reach their positions and ready for battle, they are inadequately supplied and it is in a time and place of Russia's choosing.

Ukraine's defense against Russian aggression has garnered significant international support, with many nations standing in solidarity with the country. Political parties from democratic countries visiting their counterparts in other nations must ensure their actions support Ukraine's sovereignty and democratic values.

Reports are the Ukrainians are losing approx 500 men a day fighting in Bakhmut. The Russians must be loving this, they just keep coming and the Ruskies just destroy them with artillery. Its like a gift that keeps giving.
Why bother trying hard to capture territory when your able to continually decimate the Ukrainian troops where you are, risk minimalization by the Russians.

The practice of political parties in democratic countries visiting their counterparts in other nations and offering assistance during critical events, such as elections, is commonplace. However, we must be cautious about the motivations behind such actions, particularly given the deep-seated connections that many Ukrainian politicians have to Kremlin funding. In my opinion, actions speak louder than words, and we need to pay close attention to them to understand the situation. Ukraine is displaying incredible bravery in defending itself, and the vast majority of the world is standing behind its efforts. Notably, no country without a dictator has supported Russian territorial claims at the United Nations. The isolation of Russia is a legitimate threat to its citizens, and the killing of Russian speakers on both sides is a tragedy.

The Battle of Bakhmut is this war's Battle of Verdun. Only, it is going the way the Imperial Germans, intended it. Not the way it panned out.

In general, it is reasonable, but the United States also does not mind (beneficially) that the wounds of Ukraine and Russia "bleed" because these are not their wounds, and this also weakens not only Ukraine of the Russian Federation.
