Thanks for the great video, was waiting for it... It's indeed a great device and I have been tempted many times but it's bit redundant for me since I already have a surface book 3 15in (and even a surface book 2 still). I am looking forward to the video where you talk again about the pro x and why you got it rid of it. Was thinking it could complement this as a tablet, but I guess you find more comfortablet have one device.

Lovely video. Thanks for doing it. Just got one - seems we have the same machine. When I watch the video from @TheUnlocker, he said something which I think is true and is bourn out in your video: Surface devices are designed to be loved when you use them. They have all the functionality, but they want you to love using them. I have had surface pros and surface books, and I have loved using them all. I find myself loving using this one as well. It has different modes when I want a mode - it is right there for me.
When I want it to just be a laptop - it does that very well indeed.
My Surface pro did the same. The surface book was the best at this. When I wanted to rip the screen off and sit with a client to show what I was talking about and get their input, I could do that. When I did it - the client was amazed and, at the same time, put at ease. We did such great work together that day.
That is just one example.
The Surface Laptop Studio is another device with that WOW factor.
It is beautiful and incredibly functional. Not the most powerful nor the most performant, but it is great as a tablet for consuming content, as a book using the kindle software, for a Netflix machine, for running presentations, for developing ideas, for editing video, for all the things I need it to to be great at - it is just what I want and what I need.
I had decided not to get one but the HAD to get one for my daughter - I used it for a short time, and that convinced me.
Found one for less than half price.
Of course, some things could make it better: SD card slot, USB-A, etc., but with win 11 and a good dongle - most of those things are sorted.
It truly is a great machine.
Very few people talk about their PCs like surface users speak about theirs.
