I have been watching you for years now, and you have inspired me in so many ways. Not on how to get a rich boyfriend, or something, but to go through a levelling up journey for myself. To feel better in my own skin, to feel classy through my actions, to love the clothes I wear, and, most importantly, to stay true to myself, which sounds very basic but it's actually very hard to do.
People will always judge others for whatever reason, but when we go to sleep at night, the most important thing is to feel at peace with ourselves.

I recently retired from the fashion industry in New York after 32 years. I worked for many large companies as well as people trying to do startups. No one realizes all the steps and money involved. Even if you tell them, they don't want to believe you. You got further in your firrst attempt then some experienced designers I know. Live and learn. Well, Anna… basically, you grew up. And that, really, is the purpose of life. Some people go through it without ever truly growing up or learning much. Real growth requires self-reflection and brutal honesty with ourselves—and that’s not easy. It’s even harder when you're doing it in the public eye.
I’m older than you, and one of my personal goals has been to not just collect wrinkles as time passes, but to gain a bit of wisdom and compassion—for others, and for myself.
For example, my first marriage was to what I thought was my “ideal” man. He had the education and financial means I believed were essential in a partner. That marriage was a disaster. But it changed my perspective on so many things.
Now, I’m married to what you might call “a regular Joe, ” and I’ve never been happier. We change, we evolve, and—hopefully—we grow. I really appreciate your perspective. Thank you for sharing it.
