SRK never takes a stand against nepotism even though he himself is a self made actor

All are against nepotism until their own kid is born.

How many of us chose to watch a movie like udaan and tumbbad in theatre? And how many go to watch dabang, student of the year, war? We are equally responsible.. and we are the feeders of nepotism..

He diverted the question very well and his director friend helped him

People talking about nepotism in movie industries but keep asking their friends to provide referrals for jobs or provide one. 😂

SRK dodges the question and answers as per his comfort zone.

One should learn how to speak without saying much from SRK. That's what makes him so damn smart. He basically turned the question against the journalist. Way to go King Khan!

Srk has lost his integrity totally for the sake of his kids safety...

Bollywood is literally made up of 11 big families. The three Kapoors, the Pataudis, the Bachchans, the Bhatts, the Khans, the Chopras, the Roshans, the Deols, and the Mukherjees. And if they aren't listed here, well they still are somehow connected. Not to mention most debut artists get their start using a familial connection to the industry.

To say nepotism isn't a problem in Bollywood is prime privilege and delusion

Shahrukh sir... Nepotism is a serious issue.. Koi chhoti Si baat ko bada nahi banaya ja raha hai. Many talented people who can make a better quality of cinema are deprived of their opportunity and keep struggling for the entire life for that one break.. It is a matter of shame on the hindi film Industry 😓

Ofcourse he gave a politically correct answere because he has to survive in this industry. He is an outsider .Why don't you ask these question to Hrithik Rosahn whose father directed and produced his first film. Why not ask the entire Kapoor family or Shahid kapoor whose brother made his debut with Sridevi's daughter. The Deol family, Sonakshi sanha, Saif Ali khan, Why not ask Jackie sheroff or Amitabh bachan about their sons .Some others are not even worth mentioning .
Why are you all criticising him. Can't you see everyone in the bollywood has some connection before coming into industry except few people .He needs to be on good terms with them .Go and watch Akshay Kumar's interview he also dodged the question .All of you would have done the same if you were in his shoes.

Our charming SRK- Always extra diplomatic, and always beating around the bush!!!! He literally didn't answered the question and so smartly turned it around the journalist!!

Actually srk himself has faced nepotism.
But srk is srk.

Nepotism is unacceptable. But doesn't mean an actor/actress can not come out from the same background. If they have quality then what is the problem!!

I'm watching this after 2 years. I see how cleverly SRK didn't answer the question, instead he turned it around to make it about the credibility of the press. All the stars like him, who were outsiders, present themselves as the best examples in the argument denying the non-existence of nepotism. But what they refuse to acknowledge is that once the newcomers attain some success, they don't get to work on decent terms.
