I once lost a ring at school in 5th grade. Apparently almost 7 full years later my cousin went to the same school notice the ring and returned it to me. She recognised the ring because I used to wear it all the time around her. It was somehow still in the school somewhere when my cousin found it. She returned it to me and I still have it because of that. It was my mom's ring she gave me when it no longer fit her. It was something my dad bought her at one point in the past as a gift.
