Kim, I have been doing photography as a hobby and a business for 60 years. You advice was excellent, especially about the gear. My first camera was a 4x5 view camera and my first 35mm camera was a new 1960 fully manual Nikon F with a handheld light meter. If I still had that old Nikon F I would not feel limited. Keep on posting to Yputube, you are adding value.

You are so RIGHT! Now a days the technology allows EVERYONE to take great quality photos. But the problem with landscape photography is that it seems easy but it's not. Professionals make it look easy. Now landscape photography is not really my cup of tea, but i have tried it and can appreciate the work behind a great landscape photo. It's just one of those things that's easy to learn but difficult to master !
Great video !

Great video Kim, your advice is so useful. Glad to know that i'm not the only one who feels a little self conscious when using a tripod in public. Your enthusiasm comes through really well and your love of photography is obvious. Good luck with your future project

Hi Kim thanks for another inspiring video. I run a U3A photography group
for beginners and I have lost count of the number of time members have said they
cant join because they have not got a good enough camera. I agree Its not the
camera its person that holding it. Many of the groups best shots have been
taken on older 6/8 megapixel compact and an iPhone. I shall be forwarding this vlog to them.
Keep up the great work

Challenging yourself to shoot in any light is actually awesome advice! I mostly go out during sunset because I always hear everyone saying things like "harsh sunlight is not good for photos" etc. You just made me want to bring my camera everywhere at any time and try to make interesting photos, thank you for this.

Another good video kim. Agree that at first you are selfconcous but you find people are fascinated and find it can start interesting conversations especially when using a tripod.
