No Blind Spot Monitoring on 2023 Honda CR-V’s ?

Due to current world events. You may see Honda models being shipped without blind spot monitoring. It might be hard to spot. Make sure you are double checking the window sticker. MSRP will be lower on these models.

I just assumed it would have it on all trims. Literally every other crossover I've looked at does. I did a search and found your video confirming this - glad you posted it. I have it with my current Subaru and it really helps merging and changing lanes. I always look - drove for years without blind spot monitoring, but still I'd never get a car without it now. Again, thanks for posting this.

This feature is especially helpful during heavy rain on the highway, when you can hardly see the lanes and cars beside you clearly, because you might have foggy side windows, blurry side mirrors and splashed rain water on the road.

Just put some blind spot mirrors on the rear view mirrors. You should be able to see cars in the blind stop area. Not having the rear cross traffic is a bummer though.

We ended up getting one without blind spot, it was $550 less, but we've never owned a vehicle with blind spot so we dont really feel like we are missing out. Our last CRV was a 2009. I still never got a straight answer from the dealership whether the system could be added at a later date when the chip shortage sorts itself out. Our mirrors do not have the indicators so at minimum the mirror glass would have to be replaced. If Honda was smart they would have made adding the system at a later date plug-and-play but I have a feeling that is not going to be the case if possible at all.
