Fury over proposed new power plant in Newark's East Ward

Residents and environmental activists are furious about a plan to develop a new power plant in Newark, just off the Ironbound section. That’s where the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission, which processes sewage from dozens of north Jersey communities, wants to protect against future outages by building a natural gas power plant to provide backup power for its main facility.

So if you don’t like living next to things like this, move to the middle or the upper class
