I’m a Michigan fan and I want Illini fans to know how much I respect their team. Their team played with heart and shut us down if you really get down to it. We’re very fortunate to get the win but I wish the Illini all the best the rest of the season and post season.

People expect too much from a freshman. We judge them like they are seasoned players. Growing pains are a reality. I think he is going to be really good in a year or two.

Once Blake went down the absence of Edward’s became bigger because now we on 3rd string rbs JJ got to be more accurate and the receivers got to catch the deep ball it’s no excuse to drop the football in the end zone. ITS A W THATS ALL WE CAN ASK FOR . We gotta play better this won’t get it against OSU. Go blue

If UM doesn't have Corum next Saturday it'll be over by halftime. JJ is still overthrowing WRs like it's week 1.

This was almost as bad as a loss for Michigan, but hopefully this game will show them that they need to do better if they want to beat OSU next week.

Michigan could have easily lost going on 4th down, instead kicking a field goal to still be down 17 to 16. Great Coaching decision by Harbaugh. Going with the Defense to stop em, and to get another for the win! Love the call Coach!

We are missing so may key players right now. Corum, edwards, scoonmaker, mike Morris, demon green, and more. Before the OSU fans say “well we’re missing smith-njigba”, well the difference is that smith-njigba isn’t the core to the osu offense(or whoever else on OSU is hurt). While Corum and also Donovan edwards is the core to our strong run offense. OSU’s keys are stroud and Marvin Harrison jr. And also about OSU not having Miyan Williams in, OSU’s run game isn’t that great, not saying they’re bad at running the ball, but by far much better at passing, and it shows that the rb they have playing rn is playing pretty decent.

That holding call on Illinois that would have probably ended the game was an early Xmas gift for Michigan. Outside of Wolverine fans, we all know what that call was about...

Dude…Illinois held this number 3 Michigan team to one TD and 4 field goals at The Big House…that’s a big victory for this excellent Illini team.
Way to go guys. I lived in Chambana for 12 years and loved Illini football, they were only this good when they went to the Rose Bowl.

It’s a privilege to see them play this elite Michigan team every year. Way to go everyone, keep up the good work, love football and love one another, do not be too proud to congratulate your opponent and admire them because without a good competitor, the game is boring and God demands that all humans love one another the way they love themselves so let’s be wise and keep that command. I say this because their can be much vulgar anger and resentment among fans and players in this game and it is pathetic and harmful to humanity so let’s resist those temptations for the good of mankind and may God help us.

Looks like the B1G is now like SEC, they’re making sure Ohio State or Mich gets to the dance. Go Refs.
As a CFB fan, Illinois u got screwed!

It takes a whole team to beat another team. OS will be a challenge. Win or lose you have done well for the season

I see none of the Michigan fans are talking about the elephant in the room. That elephant being the refs who handed Michigan the game. Pic play on fourth down that was never called despite the ref staring right at it. The catch that clearly wasn't a catch but somehow stood as a catch despite video evidence showing the ball clearly hit the ground. Not to mention the defensive pass interference call on Michigans final drive where the receiver clearly pushed off the defender (full extension push off) and the refs called defensive pass interference instead. I'm not an Illinois fan, nor am I a Michigan fan. I'm a fan of a good hard played football game, which this was. I'm also a fan of a game where the refs do their job fairly and without bias, which this most definitely was not.
