BarakAllahu Feek! I love how you guys are able to learn something new and accept your old opinions as inaccurate. As muslims we're supposed to seek, ponder and then submit to the truth in that manner. Unfortunately, like all communities, we have the black sheep. They are close minded and only want to accept what they "feel" to be true. But it's our job to accept the truth, not the truth's job to accept us. Imagine a world where everything we thought and felt was true, racism and colonialism would then be justified and without fault🤦‍♂🤣That's how we have extremist and liberal muslims, they make what they want of God's words, they accept parts of it and then reject or twist other parts and run with it, never thinking truly and deeply. When I see 119 views right now, I see 100 + people you guys have presented some truth too, and some relatable anecdotes that help break the ego that blinds us from the truth. That being said we're all fallible human beings, we are all sinners and subject to the whispers of the devil. God just wants muslims to repent each time we fall and to seek protection from evil through Him and to seek guidance through His words and the words of Muhammad SAW (peace be upon him), the two are the GPS we need to navigate every aspect of life with peace, love and purpose.
