What lays outside the map of Conan Exiles? Today I'll be journeying past the Cursed Wall to find out what rests amongst the wild sands of the south-west and the rain-soaked jungle of the north-east. What we find together may surprise you.

Hope you all enjoyed this video! I was originally gonna make this a very simple "yeah this is here and this is there" but I thought keeping it all in-universe would be much more interesting. If you wanna scout these areas yourself, turn Admin Mode on and teleport beyond the Cursed Wall to explore!

This is by far the best "what lies beyond the boundaries of (insert game)'s map?" type video. We all know what will be there, undetailed environments and strange textures. Instead of just using console commands to leave the map boundaries, flying out there and saying "well, nothing here, " you made a story, gave it character and made it far more interesting than any of those others. Great job mate!

Loved that storytelling - I actually wished the map would be heavily extended to give real range to each biome, room for more diversity but also some moments of travel with some distance between things

During the old betas the dragonmouth cave entrance used to not work, and would teleport you way up into the north east in a huge empty desert.

Beautifully done. I love the angle you took of keeping it in game. I love this map exploration stuff!

I have explored the out of bounds area long time ago and clicked your video just to see if there was something cool I missed. And despite I've seen more stuff there myself, your video was far more fascinating than my own exploration XD great narrative!

I could hear you do a narrative story any time of the day. I've always loved hearing your explanations with your builds, and moreso if they have an RP-reasoning behind it.

I still would love to hear more about your own works you mentioned before with "The Inexian Seafort" build you made hehe. The Inexian Kabal really sounded intriguing to me. I should start writing down my own stories and worlds because I have multiple lol, like here's a list of some that I have in my head and I actually remember almost all the aspects of them:

- Alternate Naruto world. (The anime "Naruto". I have a complete parallel universe, etc. I keep changing it up time-to-time. I've created main characters, etc)
- My own Dark Fantasy world. It's ironically a combination of influences from Lord of the Rings, Devil May Cry, The Elder Scrolls, Vampire: The Masquerade, Underworld & Van Hellsing (the series on Netflix, but tbh the entire lore of it haha). This one I work on the most in my head, and oh baby lol.

My Dark Fantasy world actually is mostly inspired by Lord of the Rings & The Elder Scrolls universes. Essentially the planet is obviously based on Earth, but is as huge as Jupiter. Which means, there's much more land. For example, in the real world Far East, will be double the size, and in this world, races similar to The Elder Scrolls "Khajiit" and even some of the Akaviri races "Tang Mo" which are monkey folk, Ka'Po'Tun (Tiger-folk. Though, I can bring these under the category of my worlds 'Khajiits'), Humanoid & Elven races that are more Asian in characteristics. With this in mind, expect this area to have the Chinese-style Dragons, etc.

As for the heartland of the world, I'd say like for example, if you were to open up the Map of our Earth, the entirety of Europe (minus the English Isles), Turkey, Iran, Northern Africa, Asia Minor, are all in the middle. In my world, this is essentially where "Cyrodil" would be from The Elder Scrolls universe. This is still a WIP in my mind of how vast the land would be, the main race, culture etc.

My all time favorite lands in The Elder Scrolls universe, Elsweyr & Valenwood, combining the two into one massive continent is what my world would be. In here, you would get Elves, Centaurs, Faery races, my worlds 'Khajiit & Monkey folk' (but with different cultural traditions, etc... still working on it. But essentially, for example, if you were to be a Russian Orthodox man living in an Indian Shaivite land, obviously you'll be adopting to the new Indian culture lands while still holding some of your own culture traditions)

Haha but you get what I'm getting at! Essentially my huge world is a massive Work-in-Progress inspired, influenced, and kinda ripping off other ideas from major Fantasy titles. Like... for another huge example, Elder Scrolls Daedric Princes. In my world, they are called "The Banished Ones", another work-in-progress mainly because I have two already fully done, just need names for them. The first one is a mixture of Mehrunes Dagon & Molag Bal from The Elder Scrolls. He/she (I'm also adopting the gender characteristic of Daedra's, where, if they want to be seen as a "man" or a "female" to mortals, they will. They are technically genderless.) is a bringer of Destruction, Ambition, Change, Revolution while also the Harvester of Souls, Domination, Slavery, Corruption. Their main image is of a woman who has four arms (like Mehrunes Dagon) who holds a magical staff, and two swords and leaves an empty hand for either a spell or a shield, and she has a snake-like lower half. She does infact have snake-like scales on her entire body minus the stomach, chest, palms.

But anyway I rambled on-and-on! I've been wanting to write these down for a long time. I'd even love to work on a project with you some time. I think we would make an amazing story together.

I said this same thing in the comments section of your “who made the exiled lands” video, and I wanna also say it here, seen as I think it’s relevant.

According to grim dark half off (the master of Conan lore), the exiled lands are located in continental hyboria, east of hyperborea and north of turan, which are the modern day Russia and Middle East respectively. To the east of the exiled lands lies a vast inland sea, which would most likely be the equivalent of the modern day black or Caspian Sea. I believe that this is the exact same sea of which there is a coastline in the Far Eastern reaches of the jungle area of Conan exiles’ map, where we find buccaneer bay and Xel-ha.

With some extrapolation, we can deduce that when you remove your bracket with the keystone, you either travel south to civilisation in turan, or west to civilisation in hyperborea. It wouldn’t make sense for the exile to travel north, as they’d eventually enter into the uninhabitable North Pole, nor would they travel east, as in game we already have travelled the furthest we can go in an easterly direction without crossing the inland sea. If we could manage to secure or eventually even build ourselves a seaworthy vessel (perhaps by negotiating with the black hand), we would be able to travel east, across the sea, and into hyrkania. Although, the most promising course of action for the exile would most likely be to travel south or west into turan or hyperborea respectively, as I’m not so sure the black hand would be too welcoming to a stowaway.

For those of you who read this entire comment, I’d love to read your responses, and, if I’ve made mistakes, I’d be open to opposition to the above theory.

To put simply, that was freaking awesome. Your voice was just the perfect dialect to match the story

honestly, super old question. This is up since they added the north and volcano biome. There is nothing, just empty map, and skyboxes with some dungeon. TP as admin. ;)

I think there lays Stygia & the Styx river. That possesed princess that appears in the intro that Conan saved 1st than you, she explains that to the north Shem is located, so likely this story takes place close to the Fire Mountains in Syigia & close to the Styx River.
