Kotaro's Epic Sleepover Adventure at Mizuki's Place

Kotaro lives alone is a heartwarming anime about Shin Karino, a manga author who becomes acquainted with his new four-year-old neighbor, Kotarou Satou. Despite his young age, Kotarou is a mature and independent child who lives alone in his apartment without any family or relatives. Karino is initially taken aback by Kotarou's formal speech and peculiar behavior, but he soon develops a fondness for the young boy.

When Karino follows Kotarou to a local bathhouse to keep an eye on him, he realizes that Kotarou is not so different from himself. As time passes, Karino and the other residents of the apartment complex become close to Kotarou and begin to think of him as family. One Day is a charming story about the power of community and how even the most unexpected relationships can bring joy and companionship into our lives.
