NEW TOP 1! // Playing TIDAL WAVE by OniLink // Geometry Dash

Tidal Wave by OniLink is the newly verified Top 1 Extreme demon. It's a 3 minute long wave based, beach themed level which focuses a lot on consistency, and wildly difficult waves. I have previously said I have been hyped for it, since it's a different level thematically than every other top 1 we have seen in the past, making it stand out a lot more than most other levels. I am clearly not good enough to judge the gameplay, but it seems fun, and from what other top players have said... IT IS! I hope this does get rated, and again, congrats to zoink and onilink for finally getting this out :)

Detail regarding the ending:

I was the open verification contest winner and had the level within 3 runs and have been doing Tidal Wave for almost a whole Year. Though it was a Top 15 Version which was changed and buffed from Zoink once he took verification. Felt shocking to be moved however respect goes out to them.

Crazey made the thumbnails which drawed attention for Tidal, and me, them and Zoink made Tidal possible for the public with Oni altogether.

Im glad levels like tidal wave are starting to get released. Its nice to see a shift over to longer levels where consistency is the challenge rather than super short challenges.

I think this level is a breath of fresh air. "Top 1's" have been getting increasingly more like extended cancerous challenges, and this feels like an actual level. I really like it.

It may be an unpopular opinion but I really like this level as a top 1. It’s so nice to not have a generic red and black hell level up there!

My biggest issue with the decoration is that it feels a bit off, maybe it's just the black mixed in with the yellow that doesn't look that good to me. But I think the sunset part looks pretty good in comparison. If the colors were tweaked a little I think it could be improved a lot

I like how no one knows that if a level is laggy you can just pause the level and hit the retry button so it doesn’t lag. More effective on higher hertz though. It won’t work anymore if you pause and continue the level. But I doubt anyone will see this 🤷
