My favorite part is when Kiriko said “it’s Kiriko’ing time” and then Kiriko’d everywhere. Truly one of the supports I’ve ever meta’d.

4:40 this is one of THE most solid pieces of advice for Kiriko aiming. Even before coming to the video I adapted a part of thr trick of using the enemy's movement against them by allowing them to walk into the headshot. Incredibly effective and they're so satisfying to pop off lol.

Everyone was scared that she would be too overpowered and she truly is no where near that. Playing with her is just like everyone else… timing and also just knowing when to use what ever.
She’s truly very balanced.

I think you can compare Kiriko to Bap in terms of shooting in between heals. There is a bit of a delay between your healing salvos as Kiriko. Usually enough time to toss out a kunai or two before you are able to heal again.

kiriko feels like the most fair support ever released

One of the things I'm realizing is crucial for maximized Kitsune Rushes is making sure to save it until after they spend their tank ult, or at least 1 dps ult/to counter it. Shutting down a S76 is easy when you don't have to worry about an off angle High Noon or free Earthshatter, for example.

Kiriko feels super balanced honestly. I think she's perfect in her spot. I really hope she won't fall in the Pro Meta balance nightmare

Kiriko's Swift Mend is great for all the teammates who constantly break LOS while you're healing them. It also cleanses you like Sombra's Translocator and provides invincibility frames. On the topic of getting LOS, as a Mercy main, "Come to me for healing" is my favorite new ping.

I really enjoy playing Kiriko. Her healing is great and taking out a Widow or an Ashe from downtown is the cherry on top.

I immediately rebound kunai to left click and healing to right click. Idk if anyone else has done that but it feels WAY more intutive to me that way haha.

"Framing The Shot" was called "Predictive Shot" in "The Boomer Days" over 20 years ago (I started around 1999 in ESPL (which became ESL)).
A good explanation is, that you have to predict the upcoming movement / actions of your enemy and pre-aim to where your oponnent is going to be.
If you do this all of the time like "hes going to move this way and use ability X/Y" you are going to get WAY better in the game, since you can think about how to deal with "ability X/Y" seconds ahead of your enemy.
For example: In a 1v1 duel *A LOT* of Genji players will immediately use their dash after they used deflect. As Kiriko you can use your Suzu to avoid getting hit by predicting when deflect ends.

Totally agree that kiriko works well with dive tanks.. Winston and doomfist are pretty fun to play with. Might want to add that you can toggle her healing in the settings, so that you don't have to send out all 5 of the healing ammo each time.

I think you missed a really big part of why Winston is good against Kiriko: Barriers block her healing, and that bubble is very good at getting in between her and her team.

Something to keep in mind, you are invincible during the teleport animation. This means that even if you don't move that much, porting can still dodge that Rein charge or DVa ult if you time it correctly like a Reaper Wraithwalk, Sombra Translocator or an Echo transformation.
I was trapped in a tiny room with my orisa and an ulting Dva, i survived by looking to the right and telelporting to the Fortified Orisa within melee reach of me.

Something that might help you aim with Kiriko is ignoring her hand animations because the timing of her shots and hand movements are not in sync

Watching this video a year later because I was looking for tips on how to aim with her and framing the shots as you described worked wonders immediately. I'm winning so many more 1v1s now. I obviously knew about wanting to anticipate enemies going for cover/escape routes, etc, but the idea of the frame and sort of aiming in the center of that could be a gamechanger for me with other projectile heroes too. Thanks a bunch!

Okay so 2 minutes in and there is already a mistake. Kiriko DOES have a burst healing ability, many people don't know this but Protection Suzu actually heals all affected targets for 50 hp, which combined with the invulnerability that allows you to get some ofuda's in, is really a burst heal

One interesting thing about Kiriko's ult that I've been noticing is that, because everyone who uses it wants to stand in the middle of it, it makes it really easy to line up those headshots against an enemy team that's using it. This makes the Kiriko v. Kiriko matchup (which is so common right now) kind of a double-edged sword. Granted, you don't exactly want to stand in a position where you'll get blown up when the other team has the ult going, but if you can get some shots in while you're repositioning out of its area you can get some cheeky kills and turn the fight against them.
