How I got hacked and lost GuitarCody

My email and YouTube accounts were highjacked. It's been a stressful few days to say the least, but GuitarCody is back!

Man this is scary as shit, good to hear your channel got recovered. It's crazy how you can lose everything you've been building for so long just like that D:

I never got hacked but there was one time when YouTube studio logged me out and I couldn't log in for a day and I got really scared :D Nothing happened, just a bug, but since then I use a password database where I store most of my passwords, and the good part about it is that you create a key file on your computer, so the passwords are protected by a masterpassword and a key file too. Even if somebody gets the password, they can't do nothing without the key file. And the key file can be a picture of your dog or anything really, just don't name it "key file" :D

Man, what a nightmare. I got mildly hacked several months back and my wife helped me with everything before it spiraled out of control. Thanks for sharing this. Hackers are getting much more sophisticated. Gotta stay on your toes.
