108Mp 4:3 ratio is fine. Once you change to 16:9 it drops to 9Mp. WHY? if you take a photo at max resolution of 108MP with 4:3 ratio and then you crop it to 16:9 it will be 81MP. Why can't you set a maximum resolution of 81MP when taking 16:9 pictures?

I just tested my S22 Ultra. I took a pic and found that, as expected, the image, using the 108 mp mode, is far from that size. It was 7.3 mb. That's equivalent to about what a 12 mp 35mm camera produces. Not surprised. 108 mp is nothing more than a marketing gimmick. The phone certainly has one of the very best camera arrays among all cell phones, but it is far from a real camera. This is coming from a pro that shoots with some of the best Canon gear.

mine does not say 108 when i do that it says 50 ..any suggestions?
