I really like how the merry OST suddenly changes to ominous and eerie once the player reaches the second part of the map

Best OST of the batch if I'm going to be truly honest. This one is so catchy & brings a nostalgic vibe somehow. I think 0:58 is the best part of it! :)

Something about this music is oddly nostalgic. It suits the abandoned worksite atmosphere of Northern Mill quite well. BSlick did a nice job composing a track for this map.

One of the best reasons why i like playing Northern Mill! The gameplay is really fun in the map and the OST just makes it even better, it fits the map very well. Overall the ending part is my favorite! Gives me a really good vibe the whole time, whoever made the OST really good job!

I'll be honest, I didn't like this one at first, but this one grew on me. The melody and harmonies are very memorable, I could easily hum along to parts of this. I also really like the use of reverb, the melody in the beginning uses less reverb compared to the underground section, giving a more secluded and quiet atmosphere.
In terms of music theory, this song starts in Eb mixolydian when entering the outside part of the mill to give a bit of an edge to that area, but changes to Eb minor when entering the underground area to show that the tone is more ominous and lonely. A great contrast to the jolly, yet unsettling overworld.

This feels like the kind of music you'd see put on when working, exactly like in this place

I like how this track is so peaceful until you enter the underground area, where it becomes ominous and quiet, which i like a lot :)

0:58 just has to be my favorite part. It reminds of old games I use to play with it sounding like menu music!

Major differences between northern workshop and northern mill

Northern mill start with a zipline, while workshop does not

Some platforms were changed

Presents stands were replaced by logs and hanging containers

That climbing part was replaced by some broken slopes and a hanging container

The tube that go to santa basement was replaced by a wooden platform hanging and the basement itself was replaced by a hidden base or unfinished construction

After the barricade destroyed, the presents that were used as platform were replaced by a regular zipline

The christmas tree was replaced by a rocket and it's ball decorations that were used as platform were changed by some regular platforms

The end was escaping by a tube but now it's by a elevator

Once you make it into the sewers then the music gets more chilling and eerie after a while
