You missed it! Many don't know but in ancient Galilee, the husband offers a cup of wine to the groom and when she accepts this wine, the covenant is sealed.
Why is this important you ask? It's because in Christianity, this cup of wine is symbolic of Christ's sacrifice using his own blood for His bride for His new covenant.
