Football has become business since years ago. The difference is right now, this business is monopolised by FIFA, its branches and its members. While ESL firmly disagree with this monopoly. Those clubs have never intended to withdraw themselves from their leagues respectively, they were just threatened to get kicked out from domestic league. Football remains the same, it's just its business model that is improved.

so as of rn i would say no. however in 2025 the uefa champions league format is changing to the swiss format for more money and it’s less fair to the smaller teams. in 2025, I honestly wouldn’t mind this simply because of the lack of bias to bigger clubs when compared to uefa’s new ucl model. i think if the super league plays less games it will work 100%. or just use the same format that uefa is using rn until it switches to the swiss format, and when it does, just pick up where uefa left off. the sport has been abt money for awhile, but it’s honestly choosing between the lesser of 2 evils

The worst thing to ever happen to football has been the premier league, and the media that has demonized the ESL to trick the football fans who have no idea on how the ESL works and why it’s being done. If you TRULY love football and don’t want to see it die, and don’t want to see so many players injured, and you’d like to see more of the youth and academy players given a chance to play in the domestic leagues and cups, and you enjoy watching top tier matches, then the ESL is perfect for actual fans of football and not the casuals not the trophy hunting plastics.

Honestly it doesn't sound as bad as in 2021.Tell me would rather watch Salzburg vs City or City vs Bayern. We talk about smaller teams but we don't really tune in to watch them .This years RO16 is pretty boring compared to the last years . The super league gives it a more edge and competitiveness. Football changes so I will give it a fair shot.Besides Uefa started to try hard when they knew they were danger .
