I really liked fireworks as a kid and still do as an adult to some extent but I learned to resent them because my dogs always panic during them, it's kinda hard to enjoy something when you know it causes harm to others, and specially when those others are pets that have no clue of what's going on but are scared AF regardless.

Drone shows fireworks. That BOOM in the chest cavity gives me panic attacks & scares animals/others with PTSD. The American desire to explode things is so self centered, ignoring the harm done to vulnerable populations/species, & destructive. Drone shows can also have so much more variety, while one fireworks show looks the same as any other. Can even have radio stations do the drone shows & have music that goes along with the show that people can listen to (preferably with head phones. Drone shows can happen places fireworks could not, even circling through sky scrapers or above whole city neighborhoods (so long as its not near an airport). How cool would it be to view a drone show from a high rise as a drone dragon ribboned its way between buildings?!
