Madhouse's bold new manga adaption is a surprising hit. Taking cues of previous failed attempts to bring Paul Blart to mainstream audiences. While not being very faithful to it's original source material the creative decisions taken work out very well. With only the anime opening being revealed at the moment we can only assume how many arcs will be adapted at the moment. However the fact that this opening retains much of Paul's lovable character in only his brilliantly animated movements and expressions, combined with stunning recreation of iconic scenes from the manga. I think we can all be pretty sure that this will be an anime of the year, heck perhaps even decade contender.
