Russia's Devastating Attack on Ukraine's UNESCO Heritage Sites

Ukraine has been part of UNESCO for almost 7 decades. During this time, numerous projects have been implemented, but with the start of Russian aggression in 2014 and 2022, hundreds of cultural objects, including UNESCO heritage, have been brutally destroyed by the occupying force. Besides the attrocities Ukraine won million of peoples around the world RESPECT, FRIENDSHIP and of course tourists that are anxious to visit as tourists, volunteers to help rebuild Ukraine and of course meet with friends made while being under shelling. A UNESCO World Heritage site isn't about the local heritage but about all of of us living on this ball of dirt and water we call Earth. It is a story of us all and about where we came from, a question to be answered when all world heritages have congealed into one and they ask where they came from. By having protected sites future us will have less difficulty with that question than present us does... they get the whole building and documentation while today we get soil color differences saying there was a post hole here and a bit of pottery that may or may not have anything to do with the dirt color post hole mark because it was found before the spot.
