My opinion is that all plugins that use oversampling should have an "online" and "offline" option, so you can have, say, 2x or 4x while listening and 8x and above for offline rendering. Although, Metaplugin allows this, which is why I run some plugins that don't allow oversampling through it. But to have it built into the plugins by default would be nice!

I like a lot this plugin, especially the HEAT preset made by a guy, that emulate the heat algorithm in Protools (so you could use this flavor in every DAW), and it's sound almost indetical..

It's easily one of the best saturators out there, either paid, or free. Make sure to grab ISOL8 from them too. It's a fabulous monitoring plugin that lets you easily isolate frequency bands, M/S, swap L/R, etc... just a very handy tool. The channel strip from which GSat is modeled, is also one of the best sounding and most flexible out there. Even has 2 compression stages. I love TBPro.

I've been using this for years. Right now I'm planning to reset my main workstation, to get rid of all the trash I installed over the last couple of years. My plan is to re-install only things I really need and use. AnalogObsession, Melda (as a MXXX owner I actually have everything I need) and my TDR suite. Oh, and Nimbus. One of the best reverbs out there. And this little gem here

I really like this plugin. One thing you didn't cover that I find useful is the choice of presets up the top where it initially says Init. The flexibility of this is very impressive and I'm amazed it's free.

I understand the frustration with developers taking their time supporting the latest Mac processors. But none of them owe Apple a single thing. In addition to that, you can see exactly which processors are supported when you buy a plugin. Maybe you bought an ARM processor; that doesn’t mean everyone has to follow suit and make their plugins compatible with your chosen system. The market will sort these things out.
