This story is part of a bigger universe. I love this world the writer created. First one I listened to was a human guard in a prison where evil Fae were locked away. Second was a Vampire blood club where the barman didnt know (it was "above" board in the organised way). The third was a hospital put into lockdown when a Werewolf brought parasites into the building!

I'm so glad to hear another story!

Being from Ohio, and living in a town like the one in the story, my hubby and I enjoyed this story quite a bit. The nuances are so on point with not only the world of today, but the small town ideology can be quite the culture shock; even at my age (almost 40). One would think that being different would be the least of some community concern; but it is still so painfully relevant. Such a well-written story.

So well written and performed, this is my second go around since it dropped. Like I've said for a long time, it's your attention to the little details that really makes you shine. Most things people might not even realize all the little extras you put in but being a musician I can't help but hear it

I am loving this story. Four plus hours of great story telling! Usually I side with the underground organization trying to eliminate “ the others.” but in this story, I’m impressed that the deputy simply stated that he would protect ALL the citizens of his town. Because they were his to protect. Love this deputy!! 😊
