Brexiteers Starting to Turn on Each Other

During the first days of brexit, most supporters tried to deny that there were any problems at all. Within a week, however, the damage was so obvious that the strategy changed from denial to blame, or just silence in the case of Nigel Farage. It seems that former brexit allies are now turning on each other to avoid blame.

Hi Phil. I am an EU citizen who has lived for many years in UK (not any more, I couldn't take the brexit insult) and I follow your channel on a daily basis. Apart from the fact that I totally agree with your way of thinking and your comments I would just like to say that your way of presenting your point of view is just fascinating! I could listen to you for hours without ever getting tired! Thank you very much for all your hard work to shed light to what is happening today in UK and best wishes for the future.

Brexit promise: Frictionless trade.
Brexit reality: Tradeless friction.

Of course Farage is still around. He keeps popping up in his Fortune and Freedom financial advice ad during these videos.

The ministers can agree any trade deal they like and take ‘back handers’ all over the world. Amazing outcome for them.

Will Self got it just about right about Nigel Farage, in saying, "a grubby little opportunist riding the coat-tails of history”

As a someone who didn’t vote for Brexit, I don’t think all this is helping, we are in a very difficult situation someone needs to take charge
(take back control ) we are heading for a big crash, it may look funny but people’s livelihoods are at risk.
If this was happening anywhere else in the world people would be hanging political leaders as traitors.
WHY can’t people face up to what mistakes were made by voting for Boris and his clowns and demand them out, I feel really sorry for people in England led by corrupt media and politicians.

I am 10 minutes from a new lorry park in NW Kent (I voted Remain). Phil, it is a case of - Forgive them Lord, for they know not, what they do/did.
Now Brexit (As it always was going to) begins to bite. Crushing the environment of Kent, under-mining Kent - as we in this County, are further down the road to independence, as Scotland, as people need (in the lorry industry) need passports to get into the County. To think, Passport to Pimlico was a comedy, passport to Kent, the Tories have turned that concept, into a tragedy.
What is worse, is that the pandemic is crushing jobs and multiplying a mental health disaster. Yet Brexit continues, bringing no benefits, no improvements and no sense to the life of a Nation.
I really fear for the next few years, I genuinely do.

Yes but in 50 years we will be reaping the benefits of leaving and basking in our own sovereignty

Not to worry, the fishing industry, according to Johnson, will find "Eldorado" in 2026. I am sure that is a comfort to those involved & trying to make a living in 2021

I was in here six months ago commenting about my work colleague’s parents In Kent who were extreme Brexiteers having a very serious meltdown over the fact that a lorry park was being build next to their property. They hastily arranged a meeting with their local MP who told them to either accept the inevitable or move! As you can imagine his parents didn’t take the put down very well. And by the way, their property has nosedive by between 10 to 15% in value, that’s if they can get a buyer! Apparently They re taking legal action against the council!!
