Righty tighty lefty loosy always confused me as a kid because I thought a rotational turn goes both directions so to speak: if the top goes to the right, the bottom goes to the left and vice versa. Now I realize it is based on the top, but clockwise and counter-clockwise are still way better at determining rotational direction.

A negative number is the opposite of the positive so if you multiply a negative number it's like multiplying the negative to a positive and also multiplying a negative against its self making the negative to its counter positive but also multiplying it by the amount

In ancient rome, if they had multiplication and variables and used x or × for both, X x x = X would be correct (even tho it'd be more accurate to type X × x = X or X*x=X or X•x=X)

In high school my teacher mad us not use a calculator for like 80%of the test then the last like 4 questions (which were on a different paper that you got after turning the first paper) you could use a calculator. Thankfully this was algebra not calculus
