Pads are good for periods. They are environmentally destructive. They end up in landfills.
Tampons are good for swimming.

Now, we all should be using cups, reusable pads, and reusable/washable period panties. These can last months/years, therefore are environmentally friendly.
Washable period panties are comfortable and give peace of mind regarding leaks and stains. They can be worn for 10 hours also.
Cups are good for swimming.

Gosh people, all you need to know is how to properly insert a tampon and youll never have an issue. I have had my period for 27 years now and always used tampons and never ever have i had any issue like this. Many women are afraid of tampons because they dont know how to properly use them, that the problem.

Swapped to the cup a few years ago and I haven’t looked back! There are so many options now, which is even better. That tampon string is a no from me at this point. 😫
