It’s kinda ridiculous that it took the PS5 Pro to make Skywalker Saga look as good as it was on Series X. Idk what happened with that port, man 🤣

I spent all day comparing base ps5 and ps5 pro side by side with each on a 4K tv at 60hz. Jedi survivor is noticeably smoother and a slight resolution upgrade while outlaws has a massive resolution upgrade but still not a locked 60 in big towns. When using vrr on the pro hooked to a 120hz 4K tv outlaws is 60 MOST of the time. Still an upgrade for outlaws because the frame rate on base ps5 is terrible even in performance mode. And as far as someone not “needing” the pro, yeah of course not. Nobody needs any console or pc or phone or anything else not a necessity. If you have the money and prefer playing on PlayStation then go for it, if not then don’t. I tested almost all games that have been enhanced so far and it’s very hit or miss, some are big improvements and some are barely noticeable but nothing I played looked worse than on the base console.

Got both games and can confirm the issues are true on Pro. I think its definitely a PSSR issue. I'm sure it'll be rectified, but its a bit of a bad look for us launch buyers. I thought Outlaws would be "fixed" image quality wise, but it's actually worse. 😅

Dude straight up lying, numerous reviews have said the ps5 pro is worth it & that it really improves things in numerous games.

Bought the PS5 pro mainly for Jedi Survivor hoping finally it would be fixed. Another disappointment. Forest Array map gave me a headache with the shimmering in the Foliage. Very disappointed. Good thing here in Australia, Amazon gave the option for change of mind return till 31st Jan. Will be sending it back if it's not fixed.

I don't know if it's true or this is the issue, but i read somewhere it could be that some people don't have a tv/monitor that can handle 120hz or 120 fps, idk. But i don't understand why they've implemented only the pssr mode and not the other modes, like performance mode. But i bet they gonna fix it at some point, they have to!

I noticed on a few videos on PS5 pro in the open world the road looked muddy and there was a weird visual artefact, that looked almost like a line just infront of the speeder.

I also saw quite a bit of traversal stutter and dropped frames.

Is anyone else having issues with major lagging on outlaws? It started a couple of days ago when I load into the game initially it's fine but as I'm exploring about ten maybe fifteen minutes in it starts to lagg the way to describe it is when turning Kay it trys to catch up with itself it's extremely slow

If the the PS5 Pro PSSR is an upgrade to AMD's FSR3 you may find artifacts appearing. This was pointed out by Digital Foundry.

May not be necessary but it is amazing! So much hate for it. I have standard PS5 and Pro. I plan on selling the standard. I could not go back

All the reviews I’ve seen so far seem to agree. Are there improvements? Yes, a bit. Are they worth shelling out 800€ vs. 450€ (assuming you only have digital versions)? No.
On a personal note, given that 99% of my PS4/5 are physical copies, that would mean paying 920€ for a Pro. I don’t think so… 😝

I've been playing Jedi Survivor on PS5 Pro. For me, Preformance mode is quality mode at 60 fps. It looks great. I haven't tried outlaws yet.

4:09 I have seen some flickering in Jedi Survivor and Spiderman 2 but....this is day friggin 2 bro! It needs time to be patched up. Let it cook 🍳
