Alfred is an advanced search application for the Mac. Think of him as Siri's long lost cousin. In this tutorial video, David will show you the basics of how to use Alfred.

Thank you so much for showing this app. When I first saw Alfred, I was blown away with all the functions that it has. You are the first that i've really seen demonstrate many of the features. Sweet!!

Your 1password data is stored heavily encrypted using your masterkey locally on your machine unless you have it sync using something like dropbox. It's a lot safer than using the same password over and over again. That's not to say it _couldn't_ be compromised, but honestly, I think it's a better security solution than most, including keepass, which stores your data on their servers.

I can't use contacts, clipboard, iTunes, 1Password, Workflows, and Custom Appearances without the powerpack version

It’s also good for power users, who want something a lot more functional and customizable than Spotlight.
