Axis and Allies Anniversary 1941 setup - Hilltop gets a lesson!

Please leave any helpful ideas as to how to combat the strategy used against me in this game! Hell On Wheels took me to school today!

Also as Germany on turn 1 it is possible to take karilia if you use 2 fighters and the bomber and transport a infantry and artillery from Germany and the 2 infantry from Finland with a cruiser bombardment...once you take that out and east Poland and Ukraine, the Soviet Union loses 12 infantry and a artillery on turn 1 and it just punishes them

Pretty sure this edition is notorious for allied supremacy by far. It's a more realistic situation for what the axis were up against, making it tough to begin with. Your tactics were strong! Your men simply didn't have the morale!

Wow, that was a steamroll. I think the first round was just a bit of a dice, and it went downhill from there.

I love watching these. I don’t think the game is broken at all with either of your strategies. You got diced. Some games are just like that. In this game if you get diced a couple of times in a row in key battles it’s ok but the third time of getting diced in a row in key battles basically does you in. I would have played one more round just to see if the dice turned around. Once I know I’ve lost I suicide everything in hopes that I can get lucky and unnaturally extend the game.

Alternatively if you don’t want to use the bomber in karilia as Germany you can use it with the Norway fighter and a sub to sink the battleship and transport in sea zone 2...basically you have to pick who to eliminate first turn...Russian infantry or the British navy...once that happens you can kind of go from there...also never buy ships as Germany it’s a waste of money...instead mass produce airplanes and tech chips

Smart strategy for HoW to adopt a KGF, and you can thank the NoLimit for his great Dice Rolls for I suggested his Wonder weapon Dice cup after I noticed his lousy rolls when he threw them all by hand initially in his current YouTube game! Rarely a good thing when Germany+Italy starts building numerous expensive warships which takes away from Precious-precious ground units against Russia, building Cheap mobile tanks secures Karelia fast enough if the Germans concentrates their forces early in the War and puts the pressure on the Soviets! Japan should've made a mad dash for India considering the US was going KGF, Japan should've initially left the Islands alone despite the NO hits against them in which just takes away units from India- Japan should've built just grounders galore (after factory builds) instead of extra aircrafts of which Japan has plenty of anyway!!!(BTW what Media do you guys use warring against each other?)

With this kind of allied extreme factory Japan must suceed. Fast. Germany can build infantry with some artillery suppoort and just hang on a while but not alone.
I guess an early sucide attack on Atlatic fleets with germany and Italy to buy a round where US & UK only builds ships? Japan has to take IPCs from the Allies fast.
