Join YouTuber Amanda McKnight as she reacts to her first time watching Wolf Man. Wolf Man is a 2025 reboot of the 1941 classic of the same name. Wolf Man is a Blumhouse Production and is directed and co-written by Leigh Whannell who also was behind The Invisible Man, the 2020 reboot. The film stars Christopher Abbott as the main character, Blake; Julia Garner as his wife, Charlotte; and Matilda Firth as their daughter, Ginger. In this movie we follow the family as they decide to join Blake on a trip back to a home he long escaped, after running away when he was young from his father. Blake uncovers a dark secret and begins a deadly and unstoppable transformation. An interesting note this movie and the Invisible Man (2020) were both written and directed by Leigh Whannell, he tends to have great aesthetics and filming choices which is why I agree with what you said Vamp about how this movie's strongest feature may just be it's makeup, lighting, and cinematography

1:26 I just paused and watched the trailer. It looks pretty good. Kinda seems like its the kind of movie that uses Lycanthropy as a metaphor or stand in for something like, given the car accident at the beginning, head trauma and a personality shift from it for some good old fashioned Family Horror or something.

Like I said, it looks good. But I trust your opinion. 😄

I went and seen it Thursday. My 11 yo daughter wants to see it so probably going again tomorrow. It was ok

The trailer is EXACTLY why i won't watch it. We do NOT lose ourselves upon shifting. It's difficult to speak with lupine mouth parts, but that does not mean we're mindless monsters. Also, we are actually very good with kids, as we are natural caregivers. Thanks Amanda.

for me personally i thought this movie was awesome I loved this movie and in my opinion I think this is another W for Leigh Whannell but i acknowledge that i am apparently in the huge minority with this movie not many people like this movie it seems which is fine, also i do agree with people that say this movie should be like 15 to 20 minutes longer and I wanted to know more Wolf Man lore but these are just nitpicks. I hope he does another Universal Monster movie but if he doesn't that's fine I'd be cool if does another movie outside of the Universal Monsters, also I'm going to go see Wolf Man again tomorrow for a second time
