Finally got the Super NES Classic Edition last month (Jan. 17, 2018) at a Walmart in my city here in Canada, after nearly 4 months since its release. This console is still just so hard to find at stores. Why Nintendo still makes this item rare to get is beyond me. At least they kept their word this system would still be available into the new year, but I sure hope they make it more available. They said they would do a better job compared to how they did with the NES Classic Edition, which they were criticized for the lack of availability which I never got.

Nice to see the differences between the US and PAL version I got today. The console and controllers are obviously different colours. The PAL version, again like the NES Classic, doesn't come with the poster or a power plug, just the usb cable.

I'm glad to have gotten a SNES Classic at launch. Playing through some games I don't own in my collection! Hope I can get a NES Classic when they return in 2018.

I bought two, but unlike others I got the second one from a different Best Buy near me. I got it cause a friend was working and paid me the cost of the system to try to get him one. Awesome system.

My box had the same damage at the top left corner towards the front also. And it's from Best Buy too. Wonder if they did that on purpose? Strange...
