It takes me 18 months to fly a helicopter with an Xbox controller through the bottom of the world's smallest drawbridge and the bee still wins by 25 seconds

That Boeing assembly plant is the largest single open space in a building in the world.

Ok...I had to look this cherry drying thing up for more clarity, so I decided I'd share in case someone else was equally confused.

Apparently the helicopters are used to blow rainfall off of the trees & fruit to keep the cherries from absorbing water which could cause them to swell & split, making them undesirable for fresh fruit. While the split ones can be used in juice, the whole, fresh cherries are what the farmers really want. So there you have it.

"So, what do you do for a living?"
"I pilot a blow dryer for cherry orchards."

I gotta know…how did you convince the bee and dove to enter a race together? Really…true question.

Third eyelids are reasonably common in nature. They're known as nictitating membranes and are clear. Keeps the eye moist while allowing sight. The little gob in the corner of our eyes (by the nose) is a vestigial membrane ie, we used to have a third eyelid but have evolved away from it.

Cats also have 3 lids: top, bottom & clear lens across the eyeball itself. I imagine the camels’ are the same.

At least the Xbox controller didn’t control the submarine itself

Cherries and grapes 🍇 in New Zealand have helicopters fly to circulate the air if it gets foggy and to protect them from the due . I know because I’ve worked with our most successful cherry export company. It’s not to dry them as such it’s to stop them getting mould

I served on three separate submarines, the last patrol i ever took was in 2009 and they were doing upgrades to a lot of systems during the extended refit period of the last submarine i was on. They could very well be using game controllers for use in periscope operations. I know they took away all the physical switches that opened and shut the missile muzzles hatches with touch screens. Im all for inovations but a switch is instantaneous and the touch screens asked four or five times if you were sure you wanted to open tube #6. If that was the wrong tube number the person standing on the muzzle hatch is now overboard. I hope since that time and now they have made it a better way.
