--> Comparing equation with general form ax²+bx+c=0
Therefore, a=1, b= -14, c= 13
b² - 4ac
Therefore, (-14)² - 4 × 1 × 13
=196 - 4 × 13
=196-52
=144
Hence the value of b²-4ac is positive. Therefore the nature of the quadratic equation is real and not equal.
