How to tell the difference between a real and fake milanese loop band for apple watch.

Some of the fakes snag on everything, though my boss has one that doesn’t. I’ve also read in reviews that the fakes get discolored and tarnish fairly quickly. I just got myself the real thing. My only complaint is that it’s a rather dull gold color, I wish it were just a little brighter. Other than that, I love it.

I have both original (Series 5) and copy (series 1) the authentic is a lot heavier and feels more quality but the copy is virtually the same looks wise, minus the weight.

On the metal loop, it has stainless steel written on it, well a recent milanese loop as of this date.

We can’t all get the expensive version, I wouldn’t spend that much on a watch band anyway over small flaws from the cheaper one.
