The Irish can thread a needle with a car. But we Americans? No. We took off an Irishman’s side mirror in Sloan, and we freaked out with sorries, insurance stuff. The Irishman just shrugged, told us not to worry, tossed the mirror into his back seat, waved, and drove off. 😳

#1 rule of travel: Never visit someone else’s country and then come back criticizing it publicly unless it is a life or death matter. Do not embarrass yourself and your country by being a trog. Smile and accept their way of doing things. You will have way more fun and leave a great impression. :)

Keep away from the temple bar area of Dublin it is mainly for tourists and is very expensive. I live 20 minutes from temple bar and most irish people don't go there. Get a train to Dalkey on the south side of Dublin it's by the sea and it's a lot quiter and cheaper.

As a Dubliner, I can advise tourists, do not go near temple bar. It's a rip off.

Ireland. Best in Autumn. Less tourists, cheaper everything, watching the colour if the country change day by day. Not yet cold. Visit Donegal. Everyone talks about Kerry and then Galway etc. Donegal county is absolutely beautiful

The euro area (also known as the eurozone) consists of 19 countries that use the Euro: Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Spain, France, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Finland, Greece, Slovenia, Cyprus, Malta, Slovakia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

The main thing I’d say is don’t stick to Dublin, very overpriced because of the tourism boom, get out west and see the actual country like the man said💪
Also the whole Euro thing, no not every country In Europe uses the euro, it’s about half I think, it’s very complicated but I’m sure there are videos explaining it, just type in “Eurozone” and you should find something 💪
For example the UK, Sweden and Denmark all use there own currencies, there are more but those are the 3 I’ve lived in/visited 😂😂

Is the UK part of the euro zone?
On 31 January 2020 the UK left the EU. Despite never being a member of the eurozone, the euro is used in the UK's Cypriot territories and as a secondary currency in Gibraltar. Furthermore, during its membership in the EU, London was home to the majority of the euro's clearing houses.

Don't know what he is talking about food being bad. Its always been good, good beef no hormones being pumped into cattle, great lamb and pork, fresh fish, vegetables like carrots, turnips, cabbage. parsnips etc., great local cheeses. yogurts, great bread, like Irish soda bread. Ireland and the EU have very strict regulations regarding what goes into food. I think he is so use to American food which have so much salt and sugar in it that he thinks other foods are bland. As regards transport, there are trains and/or buses to all major cities and town, but like the US rural areas not so much.

Dublin is more a European city than it is an Irish city. Guinness isn't a bear, it's a stout.
