"Stella’s Waltz" (Evan Carawan) - This piece represents the evening’s entertainment. It is the only waltz on this album, and is the only piece presented with supporting instrumentation. Pete Gernert-Dott plays upright bass. A performance!

"Snug Harbor" - I wrote this piece a number of years ago and called it

“Adirondack Lullaby.” How fitting to end this collection with a lullaby as the lake gently lulls us to sleep…

These sounds are from my hammered dulcimer album "Juliet's Point" that was inspired by Sandy Island. Many of the tunes are named after cabin names. The hammered dulcimer is played over a backdrop of ambient lake sounds that I recorded in August 2007 while working as temporary staff for the latter part of camp season. The album consists of four segments or "suites." This is the fourth and last suite from the album.
