I’m from Alaska. I live near Glacier Bay. We have tons of Sea Otters up here and I’ve loved watching them out on the boat. They are known to carry a favorite rock under their arm and they like to be in rafts together as they sleep or laze around. Sometimes they hold on to long strands of bulb kelp to keep from drifting away. Once after we came back to the dock the sea otters that hung around the harbor were stalking us to our slip. They know people usually have fish to clean or food to unload. I had some salmon and steak leftover we had grilled out on a little beach in my backpack. You don’t realize how BIG sea otters are until you have one chasing you down the dock for your backpack 😅 my husband lured him away by throwing hot dogs at him 🙃 watching them with pups is so funny, the pups have too much air in their fur so when they try to dive and follow momma they just pop right back up like a bobber. They’re amazing and beautiful but mean! ❤

I've unfortunately never had the blessing of being around sea otters but while in Peru, South America, I was privileged in being able to raise several Giant otter pups... I truly remarkable experience I will never forget, not only because I got to raise them but because I got to release them back into the wild❤️☝️

Here in Scotland the sea otters is protected. Every body protects them. They are a great tourist attraction. They are not shy at all. They are not bothered about the amount of people that see them.

They are really cute I love it when they break the shells on their tummy!!! Amazing how their baby do not swim at the early age!!! They leave it floating, with their tummy upwards, and they go to look for food!!! Awesome!!!!💯❣️❣️👍👍😊😊
