“Which one’s mine ?” happens to every rider (even experienced ones) when they move in a new barn, when the instructor tells you “just take Caramel, he’s the tall chestnut” and there’s like 6 tall chestnuts in the field 😂

So true when I was teaching my friends to ride on my horse copper he died last week so I am trying not to cry right now they did everything that happened in the video this is so relatable copper was chill the whole time I miss him

I worked at a horse rescue and we had volunteers that we would train that didn't have horse experience. One night as I'm working the dinner shift I saw one of our newer volunteers with no experience, that they actually wanted to hire on, of whom I had voiced my concerns about to my bosses. They ignored me and let her go about her way. I walked out to our front field to feed some of the horses and I see her walking our Percheron (also our largest horse on the farm who tended to be either spooky or naughty when walking). She had the lead rope wrapped around her hand numerous times so it was short. I quickly stopped her and told her she can't do that with a horse, especially him, because if he spooks she is getting dragged. Her response was "Oh. I thought it was like walking a dog." I've also had to remind people many times not to come up behind them as the horses can't see. I love that people don't view horses as 1, 200lb animals.

Okay the hoof cleaning was ON POINT I teach riding lessons and that’s what everyone does and then say they cleaned it and I go dig out everything being like oh try this next time or hold it this way and use your wrist (they don’t listen 😐)
