I'll tell you: The 1997 fanfare is slightly slower than the other fanfares from the 1950s, 1980s and of course the 1994 fanfare. The 1997 fanfare was conducted by David Newman Alfred's son.

And yes, I do like the 1994 fanfare better than the 1997 fanfare. FOX was originally going to bring back the 1994 fanfare, but NO... they lied, and the 1997 fanfare was used for 16 years.
