That column includes fees and refunds (negative values). You'd have to filter out negative values before summing to get total sales.

Hi just for clarification, you use the excel report to calculate total gross income and then you can just use the invoice report for all the deductible fees? What about returns?

Is this a better way to find total sales and tax total vs using the transaction report. I tried to add up the # to see Gross vs Net and it's not balancing when I total the cost and fees on that transaction report. Ebay is so complicated. I want to find a faster way to sum total of all sales (with the fees) - cogs (cost of good sold) = net sales thank you for your video.

So you have tell your accountant how much you had to pay in sales tax at the end of the year so it counts as a deduction against what is on your 1099?

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, every time I sum all my totals, I get different results depending how I add them up! First I filtered the type of transaction then I added those, but when I created a report for each type of transaction I get something totally different! Please help!!

Hi Shari Thank You For explaining this issue. I have created the report but I have $1000 dollars difference between report and invoice . If I check invoice I paid more fee to eBay if I download the report it counts less fee why is that . Please advice
