Samsung GALAXY Tab E touch screen replacement

In this video I show how to replace broken touch screen on Samsung Galaxy Tab E SM-T560

Instructions
Tools: small flat head screwdriver, piece of plastic like a guitar pick, hairdryer
1. Use the small screwdriver to pry and remove plastic back cover away from the screen
2. Disconnect the cable connecting the glass to the tablet.
3. Heat the edges of the screen to loosen the tape so you can pry it away from the rest of the tablet. This takes a long time if your screen is cracked in many places.
4. Depending if your new glass came with adhesive on it, remove the old adhesive. I got some adhesive on the screen. I was able to rub it and it came off.
5. Place the new glass on the tablet. The bottom is easy to align because of the home button. Unfortunately in my case I was off a little bit on the top.
6. Reconnect the cable connecting the glass to the tablet and pop the plastic cover back on.

Did you use liquid adhesive on the new screen or utilize the pre existing adhesive?

Also was the lcd already damaged before hand? Because I can see that it is after the video at the top.

I’m assuming because it was minimal that you just replaced the touch screen and digitizer to keep costs down.

However if it wasn’t it’s best to cover the lcd when using the heat gun so you don’t fry the lcd.
