Tier list of best characters for bosses (imo)
S (Best Tier): Genos, Metal Bat, Atomic Samurai (mostly ultimate) Tatsumaki (Ultimate)
These pack a punch against most bosses, and leave them in a stun enough for players to join in and jump them if you are looking for a team.
If you're trying to do it solo, I suggest using Genos. His Jet Dive and Blitz shot helps for grinding ult. When you get it, go CRAZY on the boss. (Genos ult does almost like more than half of the bosses health, if you hit all moves)
Metal Bat is mostly the same; but you have to hit atleast most of your moves to deal damage and gain ult. Since he is an all-around character (ranged and close range), it helps that it has similar abilities to Genos in some way or another. When you get ult, take em down like a crazy chicken. You do alot of damage not just with strength difference, but it also helps that most of your ult moves can pack a big punch to the bosses.
For Atomics ult, its really kind of a roll of dice. You have to hit atleast one Atomic slash to do some major damage, but some dont do alot like Genos or Metal Bat do. Nonetheless, it is still viable to choose if you like it; its just my opinion.
A ( Decent tier): Saitama, Atomic (base)
These characters do good in their own way, but are extremely easy to be countered by the bosses. I wouldnt suggest not using them, but its mostly up to preference. (Most of saitamas moves dont rlly do much damage against the bosses, including omni. For base atomic, its rlly just if you can find a way to get around them, because the range for it kind of sucks.)
C (Bad Tier): Sonic, Garou, Tatsumaki
These characters are the legit worst for grinding bosses. I suggest you never use them at ALL.
Sonics base abilities can be easily inturrupted, and his ult moves too. Most of them dont do a ton of damage against bosses.)
Garous ability on base form SUCKS for grinding bosses; he is more close combat than anything else.
Tatsumaki is more of a ranged character; making her basically useless if a boss has speed coil and comes at you with a sword and a spirit for melee attacks. However, her ult does fairly well for bosses, taking a major 80% of their hp.

P.S. - I have yet still to try these characters out for most ults, but until then, this is my rating for all of them.
