Why should *you* care about climate change?
In this video, Anthony Leiserowitz, director of the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication and a professor at the Yale School of the Environment, aims to answer the question.
“One of the most important things we can do with climate change is connect the dots,” said Leiserowitz. “Literally help people take this abstract idea that in many of their heads — climate change — and connect it to the things they already care about.”
Leiserowitz is an internationally recognized expert on public climate change beliefs, attitudes, policy support, and behavior, and the psychological, cultural, and political factors that shape them.
#YaleAtClimateWeek coincides with #ClimateWeekNYC, the largest annual climate event of its kind, and a meeting of the UN General Assembly.
