Hi August, thanks for the video! One way I’ve been using this is for prioritizing daily tasks in a Kanban board: horizontal = urgent / non-urgent, vertical - important / not-important. By dragging tasks around these 4 Eisenhower-Matrix-Quadrants it’s easy to identify and subsequently set priorities. It’s also fun :) Take care and thanks for your videos!

OMG! I am working on a template for my customers. This will simplify the process soooo much. When they add a new status, Notion will automatically set up a new section. Less customer support.

This feature has fundamentally changed the game. At first I thought it was only for selects for subgroups on board view — and boy did I miss the point. This update changes everything inside Notion, especially that we’re not limited to just status — we can group by relations too! So far, the most useful use case for me has been grouping my active content creation view by a relational property of “accounts/platforms” so I can easily open/close whatever accounts I want to see. I am way too excited about this right now, especially for those who have a PPV-esque system 🔥

Hello August thanks for informing us about this new feature. I have adapted your Ppv system and moulded it for my own needs. I have gone through all of your videos and am unsure if you’ve ever gone through the process of archiving? For instance archiving a year so that entries, projects and tasks etc don’t show up while tagging or searching once a new year has begun. Considering all the links between databases and such it doesn’t seem prudent to just drag and drop entries to other tables called “archive” since they lose their relationship dependent links. Thanks again for these revelatory concepts and proper demonstration of their implementation, it has been invaluable for me and many others.
