Luz (Light) for Clarinet and String Orchestra was originally written for Clarinet and Piano in 1995 and has a certain relationship with another piece called "Clear Water" for Clarinet and piano, although a simpler piece.
The composer defines this music as ethereal and floating. Its name was suggested by the clarinetist Sergio Burgani, who did the premiere of the piano version. The version for Clarinet and String Orchestra was performed for the first time at the Elma Arts Hotel Hall with Mauricio Silva, Roit Feldenkreis and the Israeli Moshavot Chamber Orchestra.
