Weather in 5 the noreaster is well offshore and we are enjoying the only decent day of weather this week with sunshine from Maine to Virginia. Showers thunderstorms and some severe weather extend from the Ohio Valley to the Southeast US as a new storm moves eastward. Rain moves into the East Friday and lingers through at least Saturday. Even Sunday will see lingering clouds and showers. Long range turns colder during next week in stairstep fashion

Revived a little rain early this morning . Lots of cloud cover, but not any more rain . Maybe this evening. Leaves are finally changing colors here in the valleys . Thank you .

Joe? I'm absolutely loving this that this next system for late this week is getting suppressed to our south. It makes me happy to finally see us getting a well deserved break from the unsettled weather but I do have one question though. Why do most of these systems have so much cloud cover around the main low that it is enough to bring some of the clouds from it to our area?

Joe? Are we going to finally be able to get a complete dry weekend again next weekend? We sure are due for one. Our last complete dry weekend was the weekend of October 2-3. Sure feels like that unsettled weekend pattern from the summertime has found it's way back again. Let me know

Joe? I see you and Angry Ben are thinking completely opposites for Sunday. He thinks we should see lots of sun on Sunday while you are still holding onto lingering clouds and perhaps a shower or two. I really hope Angry Ben is right because I want some nicer beautiful weather on weekends already
