My take on this drama and season 2 coming will be that Naksu will overtake the body of Mu-deok/Bo-Yeon in the end. To start with Bo-Yeon should not have been born, she was a still-born baby, until her mother begs Jang (father of Jang Uk) to place the ice stone and she was born with that power inside her. That is why she was able to locate it when that unfateful day when she got swept and thought drowned in the river.

Since Naksu no longer has the physical body, as it was burned. I believed that Bo-Yeon was just waiting to correct everything, and will later make the ultimate sacrifice to be eliminated together with the ice stone, to make the world safe. Her soul will be gone but the body will remain, the same as Naksu's body. In the end, Jang Uk and her can now touch one another knowing that she is the only one in there.
