I like this, but it feels too Euro-based. Like what 15th century European nations would fight it out. Don't get me wrong, I like it, but I wonder what would have actually happend given the major cultural differences

One of the biggest reasons why this never happened beyond the introduction of horses is the fact that farming practices are so different in each area of the Americas. Your petition have this problem because is much flatter on longitude and practices are much easily moved on the same latitude with similar climates.

Personally I believe to get to this era of Euro-style fighting over areas, it would take a massive culture change and many more years to adapt the new technologies to each climate, if they even would want to move out at all (hence the culture part)

Not complaining, but one wonders

I think the Aztecs weren't going to last much longer. They were hated by everyone in Mexico, had an inefficient social structure or bureaucracy, and were under constant rebellion before the Spanish even arrived. Meanwhile the Purepecha are doing really well, they're relatively at peace, they had the best use of bronze in Meso America, and they had an effective bureaucracy that allowed them to assimilated conquered peoples. Plus they even stomped an Aztec invasion attempt into the mud in open battle long before the Spanish arrived. So I believe the Aztecs would've withered away from rebellion and the Purepecha would conquer their diminished Empire, then they would become the next great Mexican power.

Very well thought-trough piece, really imoressive. It would take years of work to consider cultural spezific habits/philosophies, as this is [only(not in a negative way)] a transfer of european and asian history onto another continent. Really enjoyed it, keep working on unique things like that!

Didn't empires form too fast? As far as I know this level of complexity took thousands of years in Eurasia.

To think, Mississipi would have been the capital of USA before USA, since it was the oldest civilization empire in there

Awesome.Much needed for other historical concepts- if Harold Hardrada conquered England - or if William I lost at Hastings..Germany wins WWI..

I think the Aztecs would've still collapsed, they already had several rebellions to deal with, Spain was just the factor that unified them.

You might need to spell check a little... "Disease" is the correct way to spell it. Good video though!
